Profiles
Since your site administrator may have more than one PHool set up, you need to register for each PHool. These "sub-user names" are called profiles. When you sign on the system, you will see a link in the main menu entitled "Edit Profiles". Choose this link to begin adding profiles to your account.
For each profile, you will choose a profile name and a PHool to associate with this profile. You do not need a password, your master user name and password control access to your list of profiles. When you create a profile, you can also choose to make it the default profile (the one made active whenever you sign on). When you create the profile, that profile is automatically registered with all home team picks for games in that PHool that have not closed.
Profile names must be unique to each player, so it is recommended that you choose profile names that are variations of your user name. You will also notice, when editing profiles, the main menu changes to include two new links: "Display Profiles" and "Create Profile". These links are self-explanatory.
When you choose to display your profile list, you will see a set of links in the far right column that allow you to make adjustments to your profiles. You may change the default profile by clicking the "Make default" link. You may change the profile name by clicking the "Edit" link. You may delete the profile by clicking the "Delete" link (you will be asked to confirm the deletion).
You can, if you wish, create more than one profile for any PHool. You might wish, for example, to try two different methods of prediction; or, you might want to enter the picks of a local radio/TV/newspaper prognosticator to see how well you (and the other players) stack up.
